Matahari akan terbenam di ufuk barat, cahayanya yang kemerah-merahan menjadi pemandangan favorit Jingga. Saat umur 5 tahun ibunya pernah berkata, ketika Jingga lahir, saat itu matahari sedang akan terbenam, karena itulah kedua orangtuanya sepakat memberi nama gadis mungil yang baru lahir itu dengan nama JINGGA. Sejak saat itu, setiap matahari akan terbenam, Jingga selalu melihat keindahannya. Jingga adalah seorang anak perempuan yang telah ditinggal pergi oleh ayahnya 10 tahun yang lalu saat umur Jingga masih 6 tahun akibat kecelakaan sewaktu pulang kerja, selang dua tahun kemudian Ibunya pun pergi menyusul ayahnya karena penyakit kanker. Sejak saat itu Jingga tinggal dengan neneknya disebuah rumah yang pantas disebut dengan gubuk, yang hanya mempunyai satu kamar yang berisikan satu dipan yang berukuran sedang dan lemari yang sudah lapuk dimakan usia.
